Aethra® Telecommunications is the commercial brand used by A TCL srl, an italian company which was born in 2009 as a result of the acquisition of the telecommunication business of Aethra S.p.A.. A world leader in the telecommunication market and with a forty-year experience in the reference sector, the company develops, produces and markets advanced and high performance access network devices as well as solutions for the operators (A TLC is the supplier of the 4 main national telephone operators). The product line addresses both the market of CPE for the SoHo/SMx sector (VoIP routers for xDSL networks and fiber), and the one of infrastructures for the FTTCab and FTTB/H scenarios.
Furthermore, A TLC is currently investing in several R&D projects concerning Innovation Health and Ambient Assisted Living (amongst which the development of an M2M platform for the remote monitoring of chronic patients). The company has developed specific expertise for the implementation of smart objects and wireless platforms for integration and interoperability to connect with the environment and with the outside world. Moreover, as part of a research project (EcoG), A TLC has partnered with AB Medica for the development of a smart intracranial device (brain computer device) for the ‘acquisition and monitoring of bioelectric signals from the brain’; it is an innovative and advanced system because of signal transmission/brain impulses via wireless.

· Neurology network, Centro Neurolesi “Bonino-Pulejo” Messina Objective is to provide patients suffering Sclerosis and other invalidating neurological pathologies with home care services
· elderly summer Home care project developed in 2007 together with EuropAssistance to provide home care assistance to elderly and weak persons, in summer, when heat becomes the most dangerous item for elderly wellness.
· Mobile Emergency Video Assistance providing Videocommunication links between rescue mobile units and A&E medical centre, to assist and support emergency crews activities.
· Remote Medical assistance In cooperation with the city of Milan ADiTech telemedicine terminal including wireless medical devices have been installed to provide remote visits and video-examination to homeless and social misfit communities .
· Elderly cardiology surveys :The support of INRCA (Italian Institute for elderly) has allowed to develop a special mobile briefcase for cardiology disease monitoring including video communication and vital parameters such as ECG, Blood pressure SpO2 and digital stethoscope.
· Inner Hospital Cardiology services similar home care approach was used for provisioning of inter-hospital cardiology services to departments not having a cardiology team. Presently used in Ancona regional Hospital- Italy
· Wellness and sports monitoring Cooperation with sport and fitness teams to provide live measurements and remote monitoring of athletes physiological parameters. This approach allows to gather live vital parameters and to improve athletes performances and predict sport injuries.

Nordic & Beyond service is designed as a tour through which the today’s busy travelers, previously seeking comfort from traditional airport lounges and spas, can experience relief of traveling stress in a true Scandinavian setting for all senses.
Nordic & Beyond –service simulates the nurturing effects of the Arctic cold, the breath of air from the fresh forests, the relaxing stimuli from gentle stretching (later concepted fenno® classes) and sauna, the culinary Nordic touch to eating healthy as well as the nourishing feel of archipelagic salt.
Nordic & Beyond offer travelers a new service concept by showcasing the leading Scandinavian treatments, art and design. The mission is to ease the travelling stress of travelers by offering revolutionary lounge experience, beyond those known traditionally.
The service also tackles the fundamental causes of travelling stress, the most common of which are jetlag, air condition changes, muscle aches, and unhealthy food. Nordic & Beyond service reliefs these causes by offering treatments centered around five Scandinavian elements. The service is designed as a tour through which the travelers experience these elements.
