SVIM (RDA 100% share owned by the Region) represents Marche Region’s centre of competence to transform programs for local development into EU and international projects.

It has a staff structure with about 30 consultants covering all phases of project cycle.

SVIM, since the beginning of its activities in 1999, has worked in UE Programmes with particular attention for the local development: social, economic and cultural development. It has worked since 2001 with about 400 EU, CBC and international Partners and it has managed more than 40 millions of Euros of budget implementing projects.

The mission undertaken by SVIM results from the role it was assigned by the Regional system. SVIM provides a crucial link between the needs of territory and Government policies in a bottom up approach. As such, a major responsibility for the Agency is to support to create an environment in which welfare in the region can flourish through offering business support, encouraging new start-ups, matching skills provision to social needs and bringing business investment into the region, improving infrastructure system and cultural/tourism offers. SVIM is also working to improve the local environment through land regeneration, creating quality public spaces and amenities that local communities and visitors can enjoy, complementing ongoing regeneration activity and projecting a positive image for potential investors.

SVIM has a key role in working in partnership with local public and private stakeholders, Universities and CITTs and in concertation with the regional Administration, to deliver the strategic goals outlined in plans, programs and guidelines; in executive planning of initiatives for the improvement and support of the regional productive structure; in assisting the progressive internationalization process as undergone by the regional productive structure; in planning and support for the implementation of relevant initiatives under EC competences.

Given these roles, SVIM core strategy is focused on European and International projects: SVIM implements the development of the regional economy, supporting Regional planning and the activities of the regional Authority, working in synergy with the local economic actors operating within the territory, enterprises and universities through the elaboration of local, European and international projects, in compliance with regional guidelines for the improvement and support of the regional productive structure.

In order to sustain the regional strategy and deliver regional goals, SVIM approached several topics: infrastructure and logistics, providing technical support within the entire Region for logistic planning in compliance with EC programs; territory and environmentally sustainable development, supporting actions designed for the environmental remediation and development of cluster territories in order to ensure a fully integrated and cohesive socio-economic systems and to guarantee a high level of protection to the environment and to health; technology and innovation, providing the Marche Region with support for innovative economic development, by encouraging businesses in their implementation; territory and rural agricultural development, assisting Marche Region and other public regional entities in their activities planning.

IDEA soc. coop. was founded in 2007 by three young students of the Faculty of Engineering who, supported by a university professor, in 2006 won the regional competition eCapital aimed at the promotion of new business ideas. In May 2007, after having started the paperwork for the creation of a spin-off, a cooperative company is issued with its registered office at the Department DIIGA Polytechnic University of Marche.

IDEA is an Engineering Company for the Integrated Design and Development of Intelligent Systems for Home Automation, Industry and Services. Specifically, the company's objective is the development, manufacture and marketing of systems hardware and software for innovative and technologically advanced solutions in the ICT sector, with applications aimed at the home automation sector, industrial, civil and security system, industrial production, environmental and energy services. Thanks to the presence in the social structure of experts with different formations as well as a university professor, IDEA is characterized as innovation-oriented society becoming a natural bridge between the industrial Marche network (consisting mainly of small and medium enterprises) and the university, making research and development.
